POSITION TITLE:
Survey/Engineering Manager/ Coastal Engineer
POSITION DUTIES:
Supervise daily field operations and staff surveyors both water and field based, solicit new jobs and clients, explore new Caribbean revenue sources, and marketing. Tow/launch and operate outboard boats up to 24'. Work in Autocad and Civil3d and supervise staff to create survey maps and perform volume calculations and cut survey cross sections. Responsible for the preparation of accurate survey drawings. Ensure the accurate preparation of coastal engineering drawings.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Certified diver with 5+years of experience in hydrographic sureying and coastal engineering projects. Ability to operate a boat; management experience in running day to day operations of a company, including proposals, invoicing, client interaction. Must be physically fit for demanding field work, a strong swimmer, and have CAD experience. Experience with volume and earthwork computations. Willing and able to travel internationally or domestically up to 50 % of the time on short notice.
